A couple of months ago I wrote a post about my summer pamper routine. Within that post I briefly mentioned about sharing my skincare routine so todays post is going to be all about skincare and what I'm currently using.
I have always been very lucky with my skin in that I rarely ever suffer from breakouts and most are hormonal related. However, due to government guidelines relating to corona virus I and many others are now required to wear as mask whilst at work. As you can imagine this has led to an increase in breakouts. For this reason I recently decided to change up some products I use to more suit the changes in my skin.
CLEANSER
My current favourite cleanser is from the Garnier SkinActive range and is their soothing cleansing milk which I will usually use to remove any makeup I am wearing.
FACE WASH
The face wash I am currently using is the Neutrogena refreshingly clear facial wash. Not only does the grapefruit scent of this face wash smell incredible it is also oil free meaning that it is more effective at helping with oil control and dealing with dirt on oily skin.
TONER
Whilst shopping around for skincare a few weeks ago I also picked up a new toner. The one I'm currently using is from the Garnier Organics range suitable for combination to oily skin. I usually apply this every night after washing my face and I have definitely been noticing a difference. One of the ingredients in this product is Salicylic Acid which has been known help dissolve excess oil buildup.
MOISTURIZER
I have been using my current moisturiser for a couple of years now and it is still the one I am using daily. Most products I like to change out depending on the time of year, however I mostly always keep the same moisturiser.
What is one skincare product you couldn't live without and why?

This is a bit of a random post for me as it is pretty different to the topics I usually post about however I wanted to change it up a bit today.
Like most bloggers I try to dedicate some of my time to improving my Pinterest and I often spend hours scrolling through finding all sorts of inspiration. This is where I got the idea for this post.
I'm going to be attempting to make 3 DIY Lip Scrubs using recipes I've found on Pinterest.
Blackberry Vanilla Sugar Lip Scrub
1tsp Vanilla Extract
2tbsp Olive Oil
1/2tsp Lemon Juice
5 Blackberries - Pureed
Juice the blackberries until smooth
Mix together all the ingredients and store in an airtight container.
Coffee Kiss Lip Scrub
1 Cup Ground Coffee
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Melted Coconut Oil
Melt the coconut oil until smooth
Add the coffee grounds and brown sugar and mix together
Store in an airtight container
Strawberry Shortcake Lip Scrub
2tbsp Granulated Sugar
1tbsp Olive Oil
3-4 Dried Strawberries
1/4tsp Vanilla Extract
Crush the strawberries into a powder
Mix all the ingredients
Store in an airtight container

CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN - 11 DAYS!!
I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that Winter is a time where you need to be kinder and more caring to your skin. This can often mean changing alot of the products you would usually use during the summertime in order to adapt to the colder temperatures which can be harsh for your skin. So for today's Blogmas post I wanted to share with you my Winter pamper routine and the different products I use during the Winter months.
The first thing I will do is run a bath, this is my favourite thing to do during the Winter as it's not only relaxing but also a great way of warming up after you've been out in the cold! Most of the time I will use either a bath bomb or bath melt from Lush as I love the scents and the way they make the bath look, however sometimes I will decide to use bubble bath's such as the ones pictured below.
The next and probably most important part is finding the perfect relaxing music to listen to whilst in the bath. I will usually play this through my Bluetooth speakers which are waterproof so are fantastic to use in the bath. At this point most people will probably light a candle or two in order to make it more relaxing, however our bath isn't suitable for candles so I make sure to use a bath scent that is soothing without needing to use a candle too.
The aim of a pamper routine is to end up feeling refreshed and calmer so the next thing I will do is apply a face mask , at the moment my favourite is the Radiance Face Mask from balance me which contains extracts of walnut shells and fruit acids which are designed to cleanse and exfoliate the skin.
The last thing I will normally do is either paint my nails or put on a nail treatment such as the Rimmel Nail Rescue or a nail strengthener as this helps to make my nails stronger and less likely to break.
Have an amazing day/night and I'll see you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 15!
