CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN - 22 DAYS!!
I always find that watching Christmas movies really gets you into the Christmas spirit so for that reason I've decided to share with you my top 5 favourite Christmas movies that you should check out this season!
Home Alone 1&2
I watched this film for the first time a few years ago and fell in love immediately! It's one of those films that you can sit down and watch as a family and everyone can enjoy. It's a film which shows the importance of family at Christmas whilst also adding some comedic value with the help of two house robbers played by Joe Pesci & Daniel Stern.
The Holiday (2006)
The Holiday is one of my all time favourite Christmas movies and I have memories of starting Christmas day by watching this film! If you chose to watch this film I will recommend tissues as it is a real tear jerker.
The Polar Express
The Polar Express is an animated film where children are picked up from their houses on Christmas eve and are taken on a magical journey to the North Pole via the Polar Express. The film takes you on a journey as the children learn the importance of friendship and the true spirit of Christmas! It's a film that can not only be enjoyed by younger children but adults as well.
Love Actually (2003)
Love Actually follows the lives of different couples throughout the festive season, Staring actors such as Bill Nighy, Colin Firth & Liam Neeson. I had to add this film to my Christmas favourites as I feel like it's one of those classics that everybody loves to watch around this time of year.
A Christmas Carol (1999)
Finally, you can't have a Christmas film list without including A Christmas Carol. Set in London the film is an adaptation of the book written by Charles Dickens. The story follows a man named Scrooge (played by Patrick Stewart) who is visited by 3 spirits in order to help him to change his ways.
Let me know in the comments what your favourite Christmas film is!

CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN - 23 DAYS!! I've been looking forward to writing this post for such a long time! There's just something about decorating for Christmas that makes things feel more festive and just gets you in the mood for the Christmas season. Every year we seem to buy more and more Christmas decorations which lets be honest we probably don't need. So with all that in mind here is a little insight into how our house looks at Christmas! Hope you enjoy! x

CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN - 21 DAYS!!
Welcome to day 1 of Blogmas! For anyone that doesn't know Blogmas is where you blog everyday up until Christmas Day!
I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that Christmas is one of my favourite times of year and this year I have decided to celebrate joining in with Blogmas! (am I crazy? Yeah probably am to be honest!) In order to make Blogmas more exciting at the top of each post will be a Christmas countdown counting down the days until Christmas!
I'm going to be completely honest with you, it is currently 12:30am December 1st and this post goes live at 5pm! For some reason this was definitely the hardest Blogmas post to write! (honestly not even sure why?!) I knew exactly what I wanted to say and have done for over a month now but for some reason the words just aren't there! Can I blame it on the excitement of Christmas?
What I would love to know is what are you most excited for this year? Is it.. enjoying a Christmas meal? Spending time with all your family? Let me know in the comments!
Have an amazing day/night and I'll see you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 2!

Ever since I was younger I have always had blonde hair and blue eyes. (Cue photo montage!...)
After having the same hair colour for almost 20 years I decided it was finally time for a change! I had wanted to dye my hair for a long time but could never decide on the colour I wanted and to be honest I was terrified I would end up messing it up and I would end up with some crazy coloured hair but I decided that it was now or never.
I spent hours upon hours researching different ways of dying your hair and different techniques people found worked for them. It was during this research that I found out the risks of dying your hair because of the chemical involved, I'd be lying if I said this didn't worry me! However I knew that dying my hair was definitely something I wanted to do so despite my worries I decided to go ahead. The most important piece of advice I can give to someone who is thinking of dying their hair at home instead of having it done professionally is to read the instructions that come with the dye carefully and ALWAYS carry out a skin test for 48 hours before dying your hair. This is so important and should be done even if you've used the colour before as ingredients in the product may have been changed since you last dyed your hair. I did use 2 different colours to get the final colour this was because after the first colour I decided that I still wanted to go darker and colour was similar to my natural hair colour. I have included photos below that show the final result from both hair colours.
