This month I decided to focus more time and effort into my Instagram account as I often feel it gets left by the side. As anyone who follows me will probably know the whole posting more often didn't really go well..
I thought I would share with you some of my posts from the past month and provide some more explanation to them! You can check out some of my older (and more recent) Instagram posts here
- This quote is from the song 'Snake Eyes' by Mumford & Sons. It's always been one of my favourite songs from them and I love how true these words are! I really believe that a persons eyes can show you so much about them!
- This selfie was taken at my work Christmas party last year, also in the photo is a good friend of mine who moved to Uni this year. The crazy thing is a few hours after I had posted this I ended up bumping into her at a firework display in my home town as she was back for the weekend! Crazy or what?!
- I'd recently found out about how Costa were selling a Lindt Hot chocolate as part of their festive menu so of course being a chocolate lover & a lover of all things Costa I had to check it out! However as lovely as this hot chocolate was I think the woman I ordered it from misheard me as I ended up with their regular hot chocolate (and a large cup of it!) so I will definitely be making a trip back soon!
- This quote is another one that is important to me! Always follow your heart and as the quote says if you don't feel like you belong in someone's life anymore its okay to walk out! Always do what is best for you and your situation!
- This photo was taken at the start of the night on Saturday just before a fireworks display! It was a great night and admittedly I probably had a few too many to drink afterwards! But you have to enjoy yourself sometimes don't you!
- I have ALOT of love for this photo and how something as simple as a photo can bring up a million thoughts and emotions. The photo wasn't posed for nor was it staged, it was real life and it was a moment being captured in time.
- I don't really have much of an explanation for this photo to be honest.. just an average night!
- Just you're average cup of coffee, not the first one I've posted and definitely won't be the last
- This was a post to show some appreciation to the people I mentioned in my last Instagram favourites

For this post I wanted to share with you an updated version of what's on my Iphone! (Check out my previous what's on my iphone here). A few things have changed since my last post so I wanted to share with you my current favourite apps at the moment!
I've been getting alot more into Twitter recently and I've been loving how easy the app is to use!
I stopped using Instagram for a while as I just wasn't feeling inspired by what I was posting, and I simply lost interest, however recently I've been trying to get back into it and I've been really enjoying the photography side of it.(new post about this soon!)
I mentioned these apps in my last post and about how useful they are. As always I love Pinterest for new ideas on blog posts it's also a great place to find out what people are into at the moment.
As I briefly mentioned earlier I've recently been getting back into Instagram and I've been loving VSCO Cam for editing photos.
Best Fiends is probably one of my favourite games at the moment, the aim of the game is to match up icons of the same colour in order to get points which helps towards defeating the slugs, each level is completed once all of the requirements have been fulfilled.
Both of these apps allow you to catch up on TV programs that you've missed. I've been loving BBC Iplayer for catching up on programs such as Eastenders & Casualty and most recently I've been LOVING Now TV for watching Grey's Anatomy. Now TV differs from Iplayer in that it works like Netflix, so it's a subscription based site which allows you to catch up on both TV & Movies
Music App
As you may know, I've been posting monthly music favourites on my blog for a while now and I've been loving the apple music app for organizing all my music, this makes it easier to find the songs I've been loving each month.
I've spent quite alot of time on trains in the past month and I've been using these 2 apps quite alot when it comes to booking train tickets and keeping up-to-date with the latest rail information

In March I made a post about my current favourite Instagram accounts. I love these kinda posts cause they show appreciation for other people and with the vast amount of hate right now giving appreciation to someone will always be welcomed.
As it's been a while since I last put up an Instagram favourites post (about 8 months...) I felt that it was about time to update the list and share with you some more amazing accounts!
I'm absolutely loving Lindsey's account at the moment! Her outfit posts just make me want to go and plan a load of outfits for Autumn!
thevnicelife
I've been loving Sarah's account recently as I love how relatable her photos are and yet how personalised the account is
riddikulus___
The next account I've been loving recently is Molly's! She recently changed up her theme slightly and I love how effortless her whole feed is!
megsays_
Again with the whole white theme, In every Instagram post I write I'm pretty sure I always include one account with a mainly white theme and of course this post will be no different!
I've mentioned before how much admiration I have for anyone who chooses to follow a white theme just due to the amount of time and dedication it must take and Meg's account is no different! Her feed is a mixture of beauty and general life posts and looks completely effortless!
_oliviabeth
The last account I want to share with you is Olivia's! I'm loving her theme at the moment, and can I just take a moment to mention how adorable/slightly scary her ghost cookies are!

Last week me and my family spent the weekend in Birmingham! Not as exciting as Spain I know! but it was definitely still exciting to explore a new place.
For anyone wondering... why Birmingham? Well the main reason was for a family wedding celebration.
So the weekend started early on Saturday morning and involved almost 6 hours of train journeys. If anyone has read the book in the photos below please let me know what you thought of it!
After a long day of travelling we finally arrived in Cannock. (about 30 mins from Birmingham by train) It was here that the event was taking place.
So now we had got the travelling over and done with it was time for the fun part!
The venue was part of the hotel we were staying at so this meant that we didn't have to travel far! This meant that we had more time to get ready cause let's be honest, who spends all day travelling and gets to their destination looking their best? I definitely don't!
The venue looked amazing with confetti and glitter covering every table and a beautiful candle centerpiece. Also lets not forget the red and white Helium balloons!
I'm not going to go into just how many drinks were consumed during the evening but I will say that the effects were definitely felt the next morning!
Something that made the night extra special was the use of a photo booth! Some of our photos can be seen below!
On the Sunday morning after saying our goodbyes to various family members as we all parted ways we took a train back to Birmingham. As we had traveled such a long way we decided to extend the trip and stay in Birmingham for a few days. The next few days consisted mainly of shopping (and lots of it!) and eating!
Sadly as every trip eventually does the time came for us to leave Birmingham and travel back home. Little did we know it but this journey was to be very stressful from start to finish! After arriving at the station early morning we quickly noticed that the train before ours was delayed by almost 40 minutes! As time went on our train also appeared delayed. (We later found out this was due to a signalling problem combined with a theft.)
However this wasn't the only issue, as we sat waiting we overheard multiple announcements regarding our train. It's at this point I'd like to mention that we were constantly checking the National Rail website for updates! We were told that our train had been cancelled and was to terminate at Birmingham! However a replacement train would carry out the rest of the journey, the only problem was, instead of leaving at the delayed time we were expecting it would be leaving in the next few minutes! This meant that we were having to rush down escalators in order to actually make it onto the train!
After researching further we did find out that the cause of the cancellation was due to an incident occurring much earlier.
After over 6 hours and multiple trains we finally arrived home!
I can honestly say that I'm not looking forward to the next train journey I take,
however I do hope it is ALOT less stressful than the last one!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
I know this was a long one so well done if you made it to the end!
