For this post I wanted to share with you an updated version of what's on my Iphone! (Check out my previous what's on my iphone here). A few things have changed since my last post so I wanted to share with you my current favourite apps at the moment!
I've been getting alot more into Twitter recently and I've been loving how easy the app is to use!
I stopped using Instagram for a while as I just wasn't feeling inspired by what I was posting, and I simply lost interest, however recently I've been trying to get back into it and I've been really enjoying the photography side of it.(new post about this soon!)
I mentioned these apps in my last post and about how useful they are. As always I love Pinterest for new ideas on blog posts it's also a great place to find out what people are into at the moment.
As I briefly mentioned earlier I've recently been getting back into Instagram and I've been loving VSCO Cam for editing photos.
Best Fiends is probably one of my favourite games at the moment, the aim of the game is to match up icons of the same colour in order to get points which helps towards defeating the slugs, each level is completed once all of the requirements have been fulfilled.
Both of these apps allow you to catch up on TV programs that you've missed. I've been loving BBC Iplayer for catching up on programs such as Eastenders & Casualty and most recently I've been LOVING Now TV for watching Grey's Anatomy. Now TV differs from Iplayer in that it works like Netflix, so it's a subscription based site which allows you to catch up on both TV & Movies
Music App
As you may know, I've been posting monthly music favourites on my blog for a while now and I've been loving the apple music app for organizing all my music, this makes it easier to find the songs I've been loving each month.
I've spent quite alot of time on trains in the past month and I've been using these 2 apps quite alot when it comes to booking train tickets and keeping up-to-date with the latest rail information

In March I made a post about my current favourite Instagram accounts. I love these kinda posts cause they show appreciation for other people and with the vast amount of hate right now giving appreciation to someone will always be welcomed.
As it's been a while since I last put up an Instagram favourites post (about 8 months...) I felt that it was about time to update the list and share with you some more amazing accounts!
I'm absolutely loving Lindsey's account at the moment! Her outfit posts just make me want to go and plan a load of outfits for Autumn!
thevnicelife
I've been loving Sarah's account recently as I love how relatable her photos are and yet how personalised the account is

The next account I've been loving recently is Molly's! She recently changed up her theme slightly and I love how effortless her whole feed is!
megsays_
Again with the whole white theme, In every Instagram post I write I'm pretty sure I always include one account with a mainly white theme and of course this post will be no different!
I've mentioned before how much admiration I have for anyone who chooses to follow a white theme just due to the amount of time and dedication it must take and Meg's account is no different! Her feed is a mixture of beauty and general life posts and looks completely effortless!
_oliviabeth
The last account I want to share with you is Olivia's! I'm loving her theme at the moment, and can I just take a moment to mention how adorable/slightly scary her ghost cookies are!

Last week me and my family spent the weekend in Birmingham! Not as exciting as Spain I know! but it was definitely still exciting to explore a new place.
For anyone wondering... why Birmingham? Well the main reason was for a family wedding celebration.
So the weekend started early on Saturday morning and involved almost 6 hours of train journeys. If anyone has read the book in the photos below please let me know what you thought of it!
After a long day of travelling we finally arrived in Cannock. (about 30 mins from Birmingham by train) It was here that the event was taking place.
So now we had got the travelling over and done with it was time for the fun part!
The venue was part of the hotel we were staying at so this meant that we didn't have to travel far! This meant that we had more time to get ready cause let's be honest, who spends all day travelling and gets to their destination looking their best? I definitely don't!
The venue looked amazing with confetti and glitter covering every table and a beautiful candle centerpiece. Also lets not forget the red and white Helium balloons!
I'm not going to go into just how many drinks were consumed during the evening but I will say that the effects were definitely felt the next morning!
Something that made the night extra special was the use of a photo booth! Some of our photos can be seen below!
On the Sunday morning after saying our goodbyes to various family members as we all parted ways we took a train back to Birmingham. As we had traveled such a long way we decided to extend the trip and stay in Birmingham for a few days. The next few days consisted mainly of shopping (and lots of it!) and eating!
Sadly as every trip eventually does the time came for us to leave Birmingham and travel back home. Little did we know it but this journey was to be very stressful from start to finish! After arriving at the station early morning we quickly noticed that the train before ours was delayed by almost 40 minutes! As time went on our train also appeared delayed. (We later found out this was due to a signalling problem combined with a theft.)
However this wasn't the only issue, as we sat waiting we overheard multiple announcements regarding our train. It's at this point I'd like to mention that we were constantly checking the National Rail website for updates! We were told that our train had been cancelled and was to terminate at Birmingham! However a replacement train would carry out the rest of the journey, the only problem was, instead of leaving at the delayed time we were expecting it would be leaving in the next few minutes! This meant that we were having to rush down escalators in order to actually make it onto the train!
After researching further we did find out that the cause of the cancellation was due to an incident occurring much earlier.
After over 6 hours and multiple trains we finally arrived home!
I can honestly say that I'm not looking forward to the next train journey I take,
however I do hope it is ALOT less stressful than the last one!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
I know this was a long one so well done if you made it to the end!

As it's Halloween in less than 2 days I decided to make some Halloween inspired cupcakes! I've been wanting to post a baking blog post for a while now so this felt like the perfect time!
I'm definitely someone who enjoys creating blog posts based around themes and certain times of year here are a couple of other theme related blog posts you can check out.
Valentine's Day Hot Chocolate
So here is everything you will need to make Halloween cupcakes, perfect for party's or just personal enjoyment! (based on a recipe from BBC Good Food)
110g softened butter, caster sugar & self-raising flour
2 eggs (lightly beaten)
1tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp milk
140g butter (softened)
280g icing sugar
1-2 tbsp milk
orange & black food colouring
Preheat the oven to 180°c (gas 4) and grease and line a baking tray with 12 muffin cases
cream together the butter and sugar until pale
add in the eggs and vanilla extract and beat the mixture
fold in the flour adding a little milk if needed, spoon the mixture into the cases until half full
bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden, set aside the cakes on a cooling rack for 10 minutes until cool this ensures that the icing doesn't melt once added to the cake
for the icing, beat the icing sugar and butter together in a bowl until soft, add some milk if necessary
separate the icing into 3 bowls and add the orange food colouring to one bowl, and the black food colouring into another
mix until the icing and colouring are well combined
spoon the icing into a piping bag of your choice and pipe the icing in a circle motion onto the cupcakes
Decorate the cupcakes how you choose!
Ghost - melted and cooled white chocolate in the shape of a circle and covered in icing with edible silver balls for the eyes
Spider Web - Black buttercream icing with yellow icing detail for the web (cause I didn't have any white left!)
Pumpkin - Orange buttercream icing for the pumpkin, rainbow popping candy and green icing for the stalk
Skull - white buttercream icing, skull detail and red icing for the blood

I've been back in the UK over 2 weeks and I'm only just getting around to actually writing and posting this!
So for anyone who doesn't know I recently spent 10 days in the North of Spain. We stayed in a villa in Carandia, Cantabria for a week before moving to an apartment in Santander for the rest of the holiday.
It was definitely a holiday that was needed for all of us after a busy summer working! Below is a collection of photos if you want to check them out! I've also posted a few snaps on my Instagram which you are also welcome to check out if you wish!
Hope everyone had a great Summer, here's to an even better Autumn and Winter!
